Description
The objective of the One District One Product (ODOP) financing assistance scheme is to benefit artisans / workers / entrepreneurs
through financial incentives for the overall development of the selected products under the ODOP initiative. The financing assistance facility will be available only for the projects/units of the ODOP products identified for the concerned district.
- For units with a total project cost of up to ₹25.00 lakh, 25% of the project cost or a maximum of ₹6.25 lakh, whichever is lower, will be provided as margin money.
- For units with a total project cost between ₹25 lakh and ₹50.00 lakh, ₹6.25 lakh or 20% of the project cost, whichever is higher, will be provided as margin money.
- For units with a total project cost between ₹50 lakh and ₹150.00 lakh, ₹10 lakh or 10% of the project cost, whichever is higher, will be provided as margin money.
- For units with a total project cost above ₹150.00 lakh, 10% of the project cost or a maximum of ₹20 lakh, whichever is lower, will be provided as margin money.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. There is no educational qualification requirement. The applicant or the unit must not be a defaulter of any nationalized bank / financial institution / government institution, etc. The selected candidates’ applications are sent to banks for loan approval and disbursement.
