Description

The Uttar Pradesh Government’s “Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana” aims to support the overall development and education of girl children. Under this scheme, financial aid is provided to girls at different stages, from birth up to 21 years of age.

The scheme is divided into six categories, and applicants can apply individually for any eligible category. If a girl missed applying for the earlier stages, she can still apply for the next eligible stage directly.

Benefits under the scheme include:

1. At birth — First installment
2. After completing vaccination — Second installment
3. On entering Class 6 — ₹3,000
4. On entering Class 8 — ₹5,000
5. After passing Class 10 — ₹7,000
6. After passing Class 12 — ₹8,000
7. At 21 years for marriage — ₹2,00,000 financial assistance

Example: If the applicant missed applying during birth or vaccination, they can still apply directly in Category 3 when the girl enters Class 1 or 6.
